Can't get to ILX?

You're not alone -- and it's not just you, there are a few reports of people just unable to see the site at all.

The problem probably isn't at your end -- after the reconfig last week the server has some odd network problems that I'm trying to iron out with the hosts. I'll post more here when I know it.

There was a network change at the hosts early this morning, but they had trouble applying the new config to our server. Although it's still running, we can't get at it, so neither can you.

They do now have the details they need to fix it, so it should be back up pretty soon, I hope.

I still need to get more details on the sponsorship situation, but we're definitely OK until the end of June. While we're down some updated code and database changes are going in (and the offsite backups are being brought up to date), so when that's finished we'll be back. If everything goes smoothly, it'll be days, not weeks.

We'll hopefully be back by the time I know more about hosting, but if not I'll post more here. Thanks to everyone who emailed so far.

Hosting problem

The sites -- ILX and the Sandbox -- are down this weekend.

The hosting sponsorship deal we had with PaperThinWalls has been cancelled by their new owners. There's a chance we can keep going until the end of June -- if that happens, we'll be back up on Monday. Otherwise, the downtime will last until we can sort out new sponsorship, new hosting or raise the cash for our current host's fees.
